Saline Middle School Rowing
6-8th grade Middle School Rowing is for students who enjoy being active, on the water, or anyone new wanting to try the sport in a positive team environment. Middle School Rowing will offer students the chance to experience fun, learning a new skill, training hard and competing in a possible scrimmage concluding the season (on a Saturday). Middle School rowing is offered 3 days a week (Mon, Tuesday and Thursday) to allow athletes the ability to adjust to the new sport and training dynamics. In order to participate, all rowers are required by Saline Area Schools to have a current physical on file, dated after April 15th. Additionally, athletes and parents must sign a waiver that states the athlete can tread water for a minimum of 10 minutes.
