  • Baking Boot Camp

    Baking Bootcamp is all about building your baking skills through concentration on the methods used to make cookies, muffins and quick breads, biscuits, scones, and pie dough, and yeast dough items such as cinnamon rolls, sourdough bagels, croissants, focaccia, and pizza. Not only will the campers learn about baking, but also how math and science are naturally integrated into every baked item. The bakers should wear closed-toed non-skid shoes. Please plan to bring a (large) container for taking home your daily baked goods. Students should also bring a lunch M-Th; Friday we will make pizza dough and prepare our own pizzas. Class ID: 5139.     This class teaches basic fundamentals early and can set your child on a path to developing their talent faster. We teach students to see and draw the basic shapes within a subject, then build it from the inside out. Learn how to shadow to create depth, and create more dynamic pictures with perspective drawing. Subject matters range from cartoons to wildlife, even the still-lifes are fun! Parents and caregivers can stay and draw for free, learn something together! Ages 6-11.     This ongoing class is for beginner and intermediate painters. We will learn about materials, color mixing, values and layering. If you’ve had some experience with watercolors, we explore a variety of wet and dry brush techniques through demonstrations and hands-on teaching.     Join Saline High School Lacrosse Coaches and players for a youth and MS camp! Players will receive coaching from the high school coaching staff, current high school players, and local youth coaches. First time players are welcomed! Daily activities will include stickwork, speed and agility training, skills and drills, and team games designed to reinforce concepts taught throughout camp. We look forward to providing players an opportunity to develop and experience the sport!     Saline Area Schools transition to high school bridge program will help students to feel more confident upon entering the high school. Students will go over support staff, admin and where to reach these people in the school and how. We will review the school handbook, rules and general changes in expectations from MS to HS. Students will know where to go for the nurse, technology concerns or to get a work permit form. Students will look into extra curriculars, and sports available as well as general organizational strategies and what SHS offers in terms of tutoring.   • Chess Lions Summer Camp

    Summer chess camp open to all levels. Beginners will learn piece movement, castling, check and checkmate, stalemate and more! More experienced players will focus on middle and endgame tactics, while learning some basic opening strategies. Students will also learn about different chess variants (i.e. bughouse, chess960) as well as chess history and current events in the world of chess. Students should bring a water bottle, snack and/or lunch (if signed up for full-day).

    School year and summer programming for children ages 5-12. Registration for School Year 2025-26 Before and After Care is currently open for current families and will open for new families on Monday 7/7 at 7:00 AM. MONDAY-FRIDAY PMS AT HARVEST ARE WAITLISTED. This registration WILL BE FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR. Children must be 5 years of age on their first day of care. Children must be no older than 12 years of age at the time of registration request. School year programming includes both before and after school care*.   • Fall Cheerleading Clinic

    This is a chance for young 5s thru 5th grade to practice and cheer with the Varsity cheer team at Saline! The kids will have a pregame performance, then be able to cheer the first half of a Varsity football game on September 5th. Coaches will let you know what time to arrive to the game for the performance! The clinic includes two practice days, cheering at a Varsity game, a tshirt and a bow!
