All paints, brushes and canvas are provided for student use in class. Each student will receive their own starter set of watercolor and acrylic paints at no extra charge. The second week the class will make candles with the color and scent of their choice. Third week available if needed. Ages 10+, or any age with a parent also attending the class. 3rd Eye Art Laser Engraving/BurningYouth Arts & CraftsThis class teaches how to use a laser to engrave on paper, wood and glass.From converting an image to getting the right setting for which type of surface you are working on. 3rd Eye Art Wood Burning ClassYouth Arts & CraftsWe will be using a hot pen to create a design in a piece of wood. There are different types of wood burning pens and tips for different styles. This class will teach a few different technics of how someone can wood burn including using paint, stain or just wood and the burning tool. The class will be 4 weeks long for an hour a week. The students will create a wood burned sign of their own design. Each student will have access to use of a hot pen and will receive a piece of wood to make their sign out of at no extra charge. 3rd Eye Art Wood Working ClassYouth Arts & CraftsWoodworking is the activity or skill of making items from wood, and includes cabinet making, wood carving, joinery, carpentry, and wood turning. The class will teach proper handling of the tools and how to use every tool, and then the students will each build a one of a kind project. The class will be an hour a week for 4 weeks.Students will have some access to some wood to use in their project at no cost but depending on the size of the project they may need to buy their own wood through the studio or a hardware store. 3rd Eye Art's Art vs DepressionYouth Arts & CraftsThis is an 8-week class that is designed to help those who are battling mental health like depression and PTSD to use different types of art to help in their battle. This class will teach students different forms of art and help them find one or two that will help them express their emotions through art instead of keeping it inside them. Students will receive all materials to use, including a sketch book free of charge. Class is 2 hours long, but students can stay up to an extra hour after any class. Basic Drawing for Kids- Winter 2023Youth Arts & CraftsThis class teaches basic fundamentals early and can set your child on a path to developing their talent faster. We teach students to see and draw the basic shapes within a subject, then build it from the inside out. Learn how to shadow to create depth, and create more dynamic pictures with perspective drawing.
