  • Fall Cheerleading Clinic

    This is a chance for young 5s thru 5th grade to practice and cheer with the Varsity cheer team at Saline! The kids will have a pregame performance, then be able to cheer the first half of a Varsity football game on October 4th. Coaches will let you know what time to arrive to the game for the performance! The clinic includes two practice days, cheering at a Varsity game, a tshirt and a bow! Beyond the field, participants will be invited to exclusive strength training and speed development sessions throughout the entire summer.   • Girls Lacrosse MS/Youth Camp

    Join our Saline High School Girls lacrosse coaches and players for a youth and MS camp that will focus on skills, drills, game play and fun. Girls of all skill levels will have the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced coaches and players who are dedicated to the development of each player. Whether your player is just picking up a lacrosse stick for the first time or aiming to refine their techniques - this is the camp for you. Please provide your own equipment (lacrosse stick and goggles) if you have it but if you don’t, no need to worry- we will have extras to provide! Instructor: HS Lacrosse Coaches
  • HS Summer Lacrosse Training

    This session is for incoming 9th - 12th graders. In these sessions, we will reinforce offensive and defensive concepts learned during the regular season. Players can expect a fair mix of stick work, chalk talk, competitive games, and some conditioning. Expectations for this group will be higher and will reflect a high school level program.
  • JV/Varsity Football Camp

    This high school football camp is essential for prospective high school football players. Led by our coaching staff, this camp provides a comprehensive training program covering offense, defense, special teams, and essential skills. But it’s more than just mastering plays. Our camp is designed to strengthen players’ sense of team unity, pride, and commitment to excellence. Monday through Thursday throughout the entire summer we will have intensive strength and speed training sessions to enhance your physical fitness and performance on the field.   • Jr Hornet Sideline Cheer

    Cheer on the Jr. Tackle football teams this fall as a member of the Jr Hornet sideline cheer team! This program will teach beginner and intermediate cheer skills including stunting, tumbling, motions, and jumps. The season starts on August 5th and ends October 28th. (end date can vary based on the football schedule) Practices are not held on holidays, school closures, elementary open house and the week of the youth clinic hosted by the Saline Varsity Cheer program. Attendance is encouraged at all practices when possible. Games will be held on Saturdays in the fall and cheerleaders will participate in the Homecoming Parade!Some uniform necessities will be purchased separately. Registration fee includes the use of the fall uniform and poms for the duration of the season. Mandatory parent informational meeting Monday, July 15th at 6pm in the high school commons.   • Kids Adaptive Swim Lessons

    Small group lessons with an Aquatic Therapist Safe pool entry and exit, Basic water safety skills, Independent swimming skills, adaptive stroke techniques Recommended for ages 5-11 Dedicated pool space at the Saline Rec Center Parent/caregiver must be in water with swimmer Modified pool equipment and accessible changing rooms available Swimmer must be continent and wear swimwear Classes are $135 for 4 week session and available for registration through Saline Community Ed. Everyone should learn how to swim, but swimming doesn’t come easily for everyone. This class is adapted for kids who may require specialized or adapted swim instruction, encouraging each swimmer to be comfortable in the water and obtain water safety and swimming skills.
  • Little Dribblers Basketball Camp

    This summer camp allows your little one to experience Saline basketball first hand. A local opportunity that teaches players basic fundamentals of basketball - allowing participants to develop in a fun environment. This is a co-ed program and all skill levels are welcome. Participants will receive a SALINE BASKETBALL t-shirt with registration. Instructors: Sam & Nikki Hotopp
  • Middle School Cross Country Camp

    Saline’s middle school cross country coaches invite potential middle school cross country runners to attend a pre season training camp. Come join us as we work on various aspects of training and prepare all runners for the upcoming season. Discussions and supplemental work on how to train and race for success, as well as coach led support on setting personal goals for the season will be included. Training groups and organization will be based on the ability and fitness level of each runner all while working together within a team environment. Participants should plan to train between 2 and 4 miles each day based on fitness and experience. Complete details will be presented in the coaches’ Week Ahead email close to the first day.     This camp is for all current Saline High School Rowers. This 4 week camp would help current athletes continue to increase their rowing skills from a new outside perspective while being able to enjoy the free time of summer. These camps will be coached by Saline Alum and current GVSU rower, Bryce Drobnick and current SHS rowing coach, Coach David Fiske

  • Youth Football Camp

    Join us for three action-packed days of youth football fun! Camp will be conducted by Saline Head Coach, Kyle Short, and Varsity staff. Varsity football players will be coaching stinger teams, drills, and demonstrations. The campers will be placed on teams and rotate through each offensive, defensive, and special team positions. Focus on fundamentals, technique, and having fun with the game of football! The final day of camp will be GAMEDAY where campers will compete in 7on7 games, as well as individual competitions.     Calling all levels of lacrosse players! Come work on and better your lacrosse skills with SHS Alumni Lacrosse Player Coach Evan Aeschliman Summer Skills clinics will focus on fundamental stick skill and lacrosse IQ development. These training sessions will serve as an opportunity for current lacrosse players to further develop outside of the regular season regardless of skill level or experience (New Players Welcomed!!). This could also serve as supplementary training if your athlete playing travel lacrosse. All practice plans will be developed or reviewed by Boy’s Varsity Coach Evan Aeschliman. The coaching staff will include high school coaches, youth coaches, and Men’s and Women’s lacrosse players competing collegiately.
