In this class, your child will review the important math skills needed to be successful in the upcoming year. This class is for students who recently completed 1st grade and are moving into 2nd grade and would benefit from extra review. Our time will be spent working on reviewing previously taught 1st grade concepts, like reading & writing numbers, addition/subtraction strategies, using a number grid, and playing math games. I look forward to building your child's confidence in math. *note there will be no classes July 1st or 2nd. Be sure to avoid the “summer slide” and maintain the important skills that your child has learned this year! This class is designed to sharpen core 3rd-grade math skills through interactive lessons, games, and real-world problem solving.
