  • Choi Kwang Do Martial Art for Adults / Black Belts

Choi Kwang Do is a dynamic, innovative approach to martial arts training. It is based on traditional martial arts philosophy that emphasizes the idea of personal development being paramount, rather than sports competition. Classes provide a friendly environment to help students grow in self-discipline and self-confidence. The techniques & concepts of this art can be considered very non-traditional. Principles of modern science, derived from psychology, plyometrics, kinesiology and bio-mechanics form the basis for Choi Kwang Do. It is designed to be a devastatingly effective self-defense system that can be used in real street situations. Choi Kwang Do has been designed to enhance the student’s overall health, fitness and well-being rather than cause the injuries and damage that many competitive activities do. It is a dynamic art that continually evolves as new information on health, fitness and improved training methods are developed. NO SPARRING, “TAKE-DOWNS”, JUMPING OR FALLING. This is a continuous program. New students may sign up at any time for a prorated fee. Note: added fees apply if student wishes to test for advancement.
