Choi Kwang Do Self-Defense SeminarAdult RecreationStarting SoonLearn situational awareness plus proven self defense techniques. Choi Kwang Do is devised as a true practical self defense system. Due to the sudden nature of most street attacks, there is little time for conscious thought, and not much time for error. Responses must be swift, correct and executed without hesitation. In essence, in order to defend oneself effectively, you need to be trained to react automatically with proper conditioned responses. Choi Kwang Do movements are natural, easy to learn and remember. The movements are bio-mechanically correct in terms of power and efficiency. We will practice the movements repeatedly under gradually more realistic conditions. Wear loose fitting, fitness clothing. Shoes optional, but flat bottomed shoes are preferred if wearing. Bring a water bottle and towel. The self-defense seminar is being taught by Dot Stoddard, 6th Degree Black Belt, Master Instructor with over 30 years experience teaching martial arts.Summer 2022
