    Join Saline High School Lacrosse Coaches and players for a youth and MS camp! Players will receive coaching from the high school coaching staff, current high school players, and local youth coaches. First time players are welcomed! Daily activities will include stickwork, speed and agility training, skills and drills, and team games designed to reinforce concepts taught throughout camp. We look forward to providing players an opportunity to develop and experience the sport! Gear Requirements: water bottle, mid-camp snack/lunch, stick (preferred, if you do not own a stick, please communicate and we will bring extras) Grades 3-4: Only a stick is necessary, we can provide a stick if needed.     This is a chance for young 5s thru 5th grade to practice and cheer with the Varsity cheer team at Saline! The kids will have a pregame performance, then be able to cheer the first half of a Varsity football game on September 5th. Coaches will let you know what time to arrive to the game for the performance! The clinic includes two practice days, cheering at a Varsity game, a tshirt and a bow!     Summer conditioning is for athletes interested in getting fit for the coming fall. While the program is designed for cross country runners, we welcome athletes of all sports. Each day we will work on speed, strength, and endurance, and there will be training groups for all levels of running experience.     This is a conditioning program for those considering running high school cross country or those trying to get fit for another fall sport. The program will be geared towards building run endurance, speed and strong relationships with teammates and coaches. We also bring alumni back to tell participants what they have been doing since they graduated from Saline and encourage participants to network with them. Monday – Thursday, Fridays will be captain led. No conditioning MHSAA dead week – 6/30-7/6. Captain led only during MHSAA down period 8/4-8/8, and no conditioning during the annual high school only XC camp 7/14 – 7/17.     This High School football camp is essential for prospective high school football players. Led by our coaching staff, this camp provides a comprehensive training program covering offense, defense, special teams, and essential skills. But it's more than just mastering plays. Our camp is designed to strengthen players' sense of team unity, pride, and commitment to excellence. Monday through Thursday throughout the entire summer we will have intensive strength and speed training sessions to enhance your physical fitness and performance on the field. Our coaches will provide detailed information about the strength and speed training sessions. *Camp dates and times will be provided at a later date by the coaching staff.*
  • Jr Hornet Sideline Cheer

    Cheer on the Jr. Tackle football teams this fall as a member of the Jr Hornet Sideline Cheer team! This program will teach beginner and intermediate cheer skills including stunting, tumbling, motions, and jumps. The season starts on August 11th and ends October 27th (end date can vary based on the football schedule.) Practices are not held on holidays, school closures, elementary open house dates, and the week of the youth clinic hosted by the Saline Varsity Cheer program. Attendance is encouraged at all practices when possible. Games will be held on Saturdays in the fall and cheerleaders will participate in the Homecoming Parade! Led by our experienced coaching staff, this camp offers a comprehensive curriculum covering offense, defense, and essential skills. But it’s not just about the plays on the field. First Session. “TEAM” Camp (7th-12th Grade): Join us for collaborative sessions where players across grades come together to learn and grow as a team. Second Session: “Pre-Season MiniCamp” Get a head start on the season with our intensive mini camp designed to fine-tune skills and build camaraderie before official practices begin. Middle school football players will also have the opportunity to participate in strength and speed training sessions twice a week throughout the summer.   • Saline Youth Football

    Update for Grades 3/4 team - if you are interested in joining the grades 3rd/4th grade team - PLEASE register to the waitlist - this is important for us to determine if we are able to add a second team! Thank you! Please note the new name for Jr. Tackle Football is now SALINE YOUTH FOOTBALL! Continuing in Fall of 2025, we will unite and play against competition from other schools. This program will teach the essential football skills in a team setting and serves as the main feeder program to the Saline Middle School football teams as well as for the teams at Saline High School. Players will learn the offensive and defensive systems put in place by our own high school head football coach, Kyle Short. Practices will begin the week of August 4th and will occur three - four days a week, with games on Saturdays. Uniform and equipment provided with fee. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE GRADE THAT YOUR PLAYER WILL BE IN SCHOOL FOR FALL OF 2025 RETURNING PLAYERS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REGISTER FIRST. The registration deadline for RETURNING PLAYERS is April 30th. FYI to returning players- you will need to register onto the WAITLIST - once it is confirmed that you are a returning player - the payment you put on file will automatically be run for the registration fee. Registration will open as normal to NEW PLAYERS on MAY 1st @ 10AM The registration deadline for all is June 6th. Practice days and times are TBD. Please note that the league we play in does have a weight limit - we will ask for each player weight to make sure each player is eligible. The league also requires PHYSICALS to be on file - please make sure you keep this in mind as we will be asking for a copy of your players physical prior to the season.   • Youth Football Camp

    Join us for three action-packed days of youth football fun! Camp will be conducted by Saline Head Coach, Kyle Short, and Varsity staff. Varsity football players will be coaching camper teams, drills, and demonstrations. The campers will be placed on teams and rotate through each offensive, defensive, and special team positions. Focus on fundamentals, technique, and having fun with the game of football! The final day of camp will be GAMEDAY where campers will compete in 7on7 games, as well as individual competitions.     This camp will focus on fundamental volleyball skills including serving, passing, setting and attacking. It will be a fun, competitive, positive atmosphere with drills, contests, and scrimmaging.
