Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
Summer chess camp open to all levels.Beginners will learn piece movement, castling, check and checkmate, stalemate and more! More experienced players will focus on middle and endgame tactics, while learning some basic opening strategies.Students will also learn about different chess variants (i.e. bughouse, chess960) as well as chess history and current events in the world of chess. Students should bring a water bottle, snack and/or lunch (if signed up for full-day).
