This a great time to learn digital comic making, as it's never been more accessible! Would your child like to explore digital art, but you do not want to invest in expensive equipment before you know if it's right for them? Now they can! Thanks to a partnership with Artist Andrew Sigman, MSU Extension and 4H Macomb, you can use borrowed iPads and Apple Pencils with the powerful application, Procreate, in the classroom to learn all the basics in just 6 weeks! With just a one-time fee and user-friendly features, Procreate offers users an affordable alternative to Photoshop. The course will begin with an introduction to the application and build on skills from there, leaving students who complete the series with the basics to immediately begin publishing webcomics, as well as a foundation to continue to build upon.
