Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
In this class, students will strengthen their reading fluency, comprehension, and phonics skills through fun, hands-on activities and structured practice. We’ll focus on decoding strategies, encoding strategies (spelling), and building confidence with grade-level texts—all to support a strong foundation for 4th grade reading success. *note there will be no classes July 1st or 2nd. - These classes are not for credit, and are intended as a review/refresher of material from the previous year.
- Classes will show a grade requirement that matches students' grades in the fall (i.e. a summer booster program for kindergarteners will show a 1st grade requirement, as they have finished/graduated from kindergarten)
