Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
This chess class is open to students of all levels and experience. Students will be given chess instruction on basic opening strategies, middlegame tactics, and endgame principles. Students will then play a variety of practice games and mini tournaments, as well as a few chess variants (i.e. Bughouse and Chess960). The goal is for students to have fun while improving their analytical, critical thinking skills, and sportsmanship. Class ID: 5018. Grades K-5.
