This class focuses on early literacy instruction to support proactive and preventive learning for young children. It is designed for pre-readers (ages 4-5) who are eager to develop foundational literacy skills before entering school. The class will introduce oral reading, phonics, spelling, and comprehension through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
*This class is ideal for children with no prior literacy instruction who are beginning to learn how to read.
*Since early literacy development requires multiple sessions, this class will serve as an initial foundation for young learners.
*What to Bring: Nothing is required for the first class. Starting in later sessions, children will need basic writing supplies (e.g., pencils, paper, and other stationery for spelling and writing activities).
