Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
This four-half day course offers a unique opportunity for aspiring string musicians to experience the excitement and artistry of the renowned Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic. This workshop is designed for student string musicians, grades 9-11, who are interested in exploring different musical styles, enjoy performing, want to develop stage presence and seek to connect with other talented string players. During the workshop students will receive insight and guidance from Saline Fiddlers past & present, enhance musicality and build confidence as performers on violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar and mandolin. Students who express interest may also have an opportunity to learn Appalachian step dancing. Program prerequisite: performing in school orchestra program.
On Thursday evening, August 7th, the students will showcase their newly acquired skills and share their musical artistry during a dessert social for family and friends.
