Saline Community Education

Explore the sport of rowing and donate meters to a good cause! Saline Rowing is offering a FREE Holiday Rowing experience for all students 6-12th grade. Concept 2, a rowing equipment manufacturer encourages the sport of rowing by donating to a selected group of charities when rowers document their meters. The Kids' Holiday Challenge allows kids (aged 16 and under) to participate at 50,000 meters. For every person who rows 100k during the challenge, Concept2 will donate $0.02 per kilometer (1000 meters) to the rower’s choice of this year's charities. Once athletes get beyond 100k, Concept 2 will donate $0.04 per additional kilometer. This will be a coached supervised event as coaches will also be participating in the challenge.
