Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
If your child is planning to participate and/or try out for the MS Competitive Cheer team this winter, please make sure to register for tryouts to receive information!
Join us this winter learning the ins and outs of competitive cheer! Competitive cheer tryouts are now open to any girls 6th-8th grade! This program will teach beginner and intermediate cheer skills including stunting, tumbling, motions, and jumps. Athletes will also be taught two competitive rounds which they will perform at 6 meets throughout the season. Fundraising and/or additional fees will be required to obtain competitive team wear. Middle school competitive cheer athletes will also be attending gymnastics every week - the fees for weekly gymnastics is included in the registration fees. Fees for the team will be collected after tryouts take place.
Tryout dates will be November 11, 12, and 13th from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Saline HS Wrestling Room. The first official practice will be on Monday, November 18th.The season will run until mid February. There will be a pre-tryout parent/cheerleader informational meeting on Monday, October 28th at 6:30 pm in the HS Commons. Requirement: Backbend from standing position. Preferred: Back walkover
Practices: Monday - Friday, 6:30-8:30 pm in the Saline HS Wrestling Room. Cost: $300. *There is no cost to tryout*
