Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
This class is for students who are interested in competing in chess tournaments as part of the Saline Chess Lions club team. The class will focus on tournament preparation. Students will work on higher level tactics, openings, and positional play. We will also work on notation (writing down our moves) and clock play (how to manage your time in a chess match). As always, our focus is on demonstrating good sportsmanship and proper tournament etiquette in every single competition. Instructor: David Cogswell
