Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
If you can't spend everyday at the beach, you can at least read and write about it! This class will focus on strengthening 5th grade reading and writing domains through project based learning. This class will include a focus on:
*Narrative reading and writing - Students will read island texts and create a story about being stranded on a deserted island.
*Informational/Persuasive reading and writing - Student will create a researched brochure for the best island to vacation on.

- These classes are not for credit, and are intended as a review/refresher of material from the previous year.
- Classes will show a grade requirement that matches students' grades in the fall (i.e. a summer booster program for kindergarteners will show a 1st grade requirement, as they have finished/graduated from kindergarten)
- When registering please select the applicable fee. Only select the "grant" fee if you have received notification that your child qualifies for grant funded summer programming.
