The English 9 Summer Booster refresher aims to sharpen indispensable writing skills essential for success in the freshmen year of high school. Over the three-week session, students will concentrate on three key areas crucial for achievement in English 9 and beyond: mastering the ABCDE and MLA formats, refining the structure of the 5-paragraph essay, and acquiring practical skills like professional emailing and crafting compelling presentations. - These classes are not for credit, and are intended as a booster/refresher of material from the previous year.
- Classes will show a grade requirement that matches students' grades in the fall (i.e. a summer booster program for kindergarteners will show a 1st grade requirement, as they have finished/graduated from kindergarten)
- When registering please select the applicable fee. Only select the "grant" fee if you have received notification that your child qualifies for grant funded summer programming.
