Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
In this recreation program, students will engage in authentic scenarios that teach and enrich the essential social and emotional skills needed to cope with everyday challenges and experience academic, professional, and social success. Using a variety of engaging and hands-on activities and positive reinforcement, students will practice self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills. In addition to explicit social and emotional instruction, students will make crafts, play games, and visit local parks. Community-based instruction will be provided in the Saline area.
