    Choi Kwang Do is a dynamic, innovative approach to martial arts training. Principles of modern science, derived from psychology, plyometrics, kinesiology and bio-mechanics form the basis for Choi Kwang Do.It is designed to be a devastatingly effective self-defense system that can be used in real street situations.Choi Kwang Do has been designed to enhance the student’s overall health, fitness and well-being rather than cause the injuries and damage that many competitive activities do.It is a dynamic art that continually evolves as new information on health, fitness and improved training methods are developed.NO SPARRING, “TAKE-DOWNS”, JUMPING OR FALLING. The exercises executed in this class help train muscles to perform everyday activities safely and efficiently by targeting major muscle groups.   • Jishukan Chi - Fall 2024

    Jishukan Chi is the first class of its kind using the techniques of Jishukan Ryu Jujitsu without the rigors of contact associated with martial arts. Using their own body weight as resistance, students will stretch and strengthen muscles, ligaments and tendons. Using the rhythmic flow that is part of Jishukan Ryu, JuJitsu forms, students will improve their core strength, balance,flexibility, and concentration. Jishukan Chi allows students of ages 14+ to work at their own pace but is ideal for those over 40 that want body maintenance, rehabilitation, or stress relief without high intensity workouts.     Are you searching for something out of life and just haven’t found what you’re looking for? Try this amazing meditation class taught by one of 4 remaining Shihan’s in the entire world (holds the highest rank in Jujitsu and has a Japanese doctorate in medicine). Students who have been attending the class now for years report the changes are subtle but are most definitely there. Better concentration, better focus and overall better mental and physical health. Japanese meditation is the most physical form of meditation and this encompasses thousands of years of proven practices. One student recommends this class from the bottom of her heart for anyone young or old that wants to learn about and better themselves, not to mention have some fun!
