Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
Welcome to the first ever Chess Lions Invitational tournament! This will be an unrated event, so students are NOT required to have a rating or a USCF membership to compete. There will be 4 rounds starting at 10:00, 11:00, 12:30, and 1:30, with the award ceremony at 2:30/2:45pm. PLEASE try to arrive at 9:30 so we can get you checked in and start the rounds on time! Boards and pieces are provided, but students should bring a pencil to notate their moves, which is not required, but highly recommended. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers, and medals to other top performers. Instructor: David Cogswell
