Principles of modern science, derived from psychology, plyometrics, kinesiology and bio-mechanics form the basis for Choi Kwang Do.It is designed to be a devastatingly effective self-defense system that can be used in real street situations.Choi Kwang Do has been designed to enhance the student’s overall health, fitness and well-being rather than cause the injuries and damage that many competitive activities do.It is a dynamic art that continually evolves as new information on health, fitness and improved training methods are developed.NO SPARRING, “TAKE-DOWNS”, JUMPING OR FALLING. The exercises executed in this class help train muscles to perform everyday activities safely and efficiently by targeting major muscle groups. Learn how to approach your daily life so you are more mentally aware and less likely to be a victim of an assault. You will have the opportunity to practice realistic assault scenarios and develop the skills necessary to defend yourself should the need arise.
