Come play card and board games, build with blocks, enjoy dramatic play, arts and crafts, games in the gym, and more, all in a school setting supervised by State of Michigan and Saline Area Schools vetted employees.
Saline Area Schools is offering a new preschool class developed to include all children, with and without disabilities or who may have developmental delays. Preschool Play Pals is a play-based preschool enrichment program for children ages 2.5-4 years. Children will have the opportunity to gain independence, develop routines in a group, learn how to take turns and develop preschool skills through structured activities and open play. This class will be led by a teacher certified in both early childhood education and special education. This class will also have a paraeducator who will help support the general preschool class activities and individual goals for children who have an IEP. Providing inclusive opportunities for young children builds empathy and confidence for every child who participates. Potty training is not required. Children need to be registered for the full semester.
Before registering, please contact Alicia Zak at zaka@salineschools.org to verify eligibility. Only families who have received an invitation from Alicia are eligible to register.
